Thousands of emails from our amazing suporters forced Apple's biggest rival, Samsung, to confirm that it uses forest-trashing tin from Indonesia's Bangka Island in its products.

But Apple is still refusing to go public about whether its phones contain tin from Bangka Island.

Apple claims to take "a comprehensive approach to environmental responsibility". And its website states that "workers everywhere should have the right to safe and ethical working conditions".

However Apple are completely silent on an issue that potentially links their products to life-threatening mining practices and terrible environmental destruction on Bangka Island.

Take action

You have secured a public commitment from Samsung to take action on Bangka Island. Let's get Apple to do the same.
