Stop pesticides harming bees

Bees are in danger. There is growing evidence that pesticides harm bees' health and remove the food sources they need to survive.

The Government is putting together a new pesticides plan. The plan's first draft doesn't include any specific action to protect bees.

The Government should commit to:

  • phase out using neonicotinoid pesticides which are most harmful to bees
  • cut pesticide use on crops visited by bees
  • help farmers find an alternative to pesticides.

France has just banned a Neonicotinoid pesticide; the UK should do this as well.

Take Action

Ask the Government to include strong measures to save bees in its pesticides plan.
