Where the money goes

Friends of the Earth England, Wales and Northern Ireland consists of two parts:

Friends of the Earth Trust is an educational charity that carries out most of our work on campaigning, research, education and publishing.

Friends of the Earth Limited carries out our campaigns to change Government policies. This is because charity law does not allow charities to do this work.

David Cameron and George Osborne are determined to bring fracking for shale gas to the UK.

In the US, evidence is mounting for the environmental and human costs of fracking. A toxic mix of chemicals left underground, high pollution levels and earthquakes can be all side-effects of the fracking process.
